A quote about greatness. From Shakespeare’s Twelfth night comes the line,” But be not afraid of greatness; some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them”. I feel that living in the generation we do is an example of the “thrust upon us” model.
The topic of greatness is worthy of our pondering. Great people do great things and they do it many times without effort. Greatness just seems to follow them around. I am convinced that I need to set out each day to do something great. That’s part of my privilege of being a pastor. Doing the work of God’s kingdom has eternal value that is better than good, It’s Great!
Bill Gates says we must continue to innovate because we are always just 2 years away from extinction. Leonard Sweet says there are two things that can be said for certain about the future . First, the unexpected happens . Second, the expected does not happen.
The learning process is a great thing. I want to learn something new today. The Bible says in the book of Romans that we need to be transformed by the renewal of our mind.
It’s worth going after.
