Inspection day

I was reading this morning in the eleventh chapter of the Gospel of Mark. I find it interesting that Jesus did a personal tour of the temple area shorthly after arriving in Jerusalem. He obviously was very popular with the crowds as was evidenced by the parade atmosphere of the tiumphal entry. It indicates that He went into the temple, looked around in what seems to be an inspection, then left and went back the next day and turned the tables over and kicked the merchants out. It seems to be a picture of the mercy of God. He gives the opportunity to repent. We are not given alot of information of how He felt at that moment except that we find Him with righteous indignation about it. What if we each invited God to come into our "temples" and inspect with the understanding that He would come back again the next day? I wonder what I would be getting rid of before the second visit. The truth is that He is in the temple today and it is always a good day to repent before He needs to turn the tables.
