Daily Significance

A popular Country song contains a line that says,” I hope you never lose your sense of wonder”. Successful salesmen understand the value of the “WOW” effect. The unpredictable surprises of life are the spices that keep excitement high. The bible tells us in to think on the things that are of value. Things that are good .

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
Philippians 4:8

“Wonder fell upon the whole neighborhood, and the news of what had happened spread throughout the Judean hills.”

People upon which wonder falls are never bored. God never intended for man to live with the feeling of ho-hum. The opportunity for excitement is always there.

It’s good to recall the amazing things that you have experienced. Ask God to bring to your mind the significance of all that you have gone through. Since no experiences are trivial in the Lord, there must be powerful importance to the chronology of your last year. As you recall these things, you will be overwhelmed by the fact that you made investments every day. You had encounters that will change you life for eternity. You met people you had never met before, some of whom will be in your life from now on. The exciting thing is that today will bring new things and new people into your life and you will be different that you are now.
