We arrived home late last night after a couple of days on the road. It felt good to walk in the door. We are a home-based creation. We start and end at home. We spend many stops at home, yet we are on the go all the time. We have home pages in cyber space that we launch from to travel to far away places. All the time we are on the journey, we are simply a click away from returning home. It’s a good thing that God designed us that way or we would find ourselves lost and unable to get home. This is a time to start at home. Look at the familiar surroundings, appreciate them for a bit before launching back out into busy-ness. The saying goes: “There’s no place like Home!”
I suggest to you that life is a series of going from and returning to home. God created you in a heavenly home. He makes His home in your heart to allow you to always have access to your heritage. No matter where today takes you, God is there. The Psalmist said that God is there no matter where we are.

The bible tells us the signs of the times indicate we are close to home. As you go through the day today, take a look at your situation. Check out the NEW things and the old things as you stop for awhile at home, and understand that you home for eternity is your choice. Do you belong to God? If so, Home is where you belong.

We don’t know all that today will bring. We do however know from where we are starting, and where we are headed, HOME.

“Welcome Home!!!”
