The God Particle

Sometimes I read articles and in magazines that cause overload of my perception sensors. One such article was in last week’s Parade magazine. The article, “The race for the secret of the universe” was about the research going on looking for the “God Particle”. Physicists feel they have breakthroughs now that puts them closer to actually finding the “Higgs Boson” that is the missing link in the sub-atomic particle research. I especially liked the one comment from the director of the research facility, ”We’re producing particles that have been here since the first trillionth of a second of the universe, but we still don’t understand the most basic things.” These scientists live in a world of quarks and leptons in order to figure out how matter becomes and remains matter. It seems to me that it takes “Faith” to live there. Seems like a lot of work to get to the answer that I already know. There is indeed a glue particle. Unseen by man as of yet. One day we will get to see it. In the mean time, I am sticking with the scientific name, “The God Particle”

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”

Might do us good to re-read the account of the Tower of Babel in the Bible.
