F.R. Havergal penned the words to one of the great hymns of the church. In the hymn "Take my life and let it be" it says:
Take my hands and let them move, at the impulse of thy love
Take my feet and let them be, swift and beautiful for thee
Take my intellect and use every power as thou shalt choose
Each day, I need to decide if I am going to give my being and my activity to God.
I like what one theologeon said about that:
"When we find it otherwise with us, we must give our whole diligence to amend our state."
The decision of what to give whole diligence to will be the defining component in our legacy. It seems to me that it is worth carefully making that decision.
