A quote from J.H. Newman from ny devotions this morning:
"One secret act of self-denial, one sacrifice of inclination to duty, is worth all the mere good thoughts, warm feelings, passionate prayers, in which idle people indulge themselves."
As with every day, I must choose today whether I am going to actually do something worthwhile or simple talk and dream about doing it.
