Identify the Circles

I have four words working on me this week.

Circles, Drains, Resources and Refreshments.

They are words that define areas of our lives that, when handled correctly, can keep us moving in the forward direction. They are ingredients in our excellence recipe. The question becomes, "what place do we allow them to have?

The first of these words is "Circles". There are things that we do that, by nature, move in circles. In the area of church growth we need to identify those programs and styles that keep bringing us around to home base. In a positive sense, we need these to always have the connection to the basics such as truth. These core beliefs help us to cross home plate several times during the game.

In the negative sense, these circles are the spinning of wheels that keep us from advancing to the next level. They can keep us from "pressing toward the mark". We are designed to take the journey in an efficient manner. Identifying the circles helps is to avoid revisiting mistakes.

Let's keep our circles spiraling us upward.
